Welcome to my salon!
 
My name is Rasa Jankulskaite Ezenva, but if that is a bit of a mouthful, Rasa is fine.
 
For 18 years I have worked as a hairdresser in Lithuania and the UK. For 15 of these, I have passed these skills to others as a tutor. I love to create all types of female and male haircuts: styling, colouring, perms and trichology servises . Nothing is impossible.
 
But apart from that, I also have a degree in Ethics. Can your current hairdresser say that?
The ethical values I learnt during my studies and in the beauty industry is what drives my business and life today. I love to combine my training with using conscious products both for the environment and our customers. Beautiful hair, for example, only comes from a healthy scalp (both literally and metaphorically).
 
My path to becoming a salon owner began in 2001 after completion of a haircutting professional degree at Vilnius College. In 2004, I won a prestigious Baltic states’ hairstyles award. After this, I worked at one of Lithuania’s trendiest salons and taught at a private hairdressing school. In 2010 my beloved son, David, was born and following changes in family circumstances, I moved to the UK.
 
I opened Oxford Hair & Beauty Academy in 2014 to both teach and provide hair and beauty services. We are accredited by VTCT and offer NVQ and RVQ hairdressing alongside individual and advanced qualification courses. There is no better feeling than seeing my students succeeding in our competitive business environment.
 
My passion is to make people feel great about their appearance and well-being – a happy customer is the best reward.
 
Diversity is the strength of my salon: we are a multicultural salon in multicultural East Oxford with a growing and proudly diverse clientele. That is what makes Oxford truly beautiful and why we named our salon after the city.
